Delete Account and Data
This page explains how to request deletion of data connected with your use of aggreTrade, also named “Aggre Trade Pro - Bitcoin". The App has no named account and no login. It does, however, create a pseudonymous registration with a random user identifier for alert and push-notification functions. The operator may therefore hold data even though you never entered your name or email address in the App.
1. Data you can delete on your device
If you still have access to the App, take these steps where possible:
- Remove active price, condition or movement alerts in the App.
- Disable notifications in the App and/or the system settings.
- Clear the App data in the system settings or uninstall the App.
This removes local data such as your watchlist, display settings and local rule copies. Disabling the system permission prevents notifications on your device, but does not automatically delete every record already stored on the operator backend or by Google. You can also submit the request below for a complete review.
2. Request deletion from the operator
Send your request to supportepiclappscom. An informal message is sufficient.
Include only information that may help associate the request:
- App: aggreTrade
- platform: Android or iOS
- your request, such as deletion, access or restriction
- the approximate time when you enabled, changed or last received a push notification or alert
- optionally, the approximate alert type or market asset if you remember it
Do not send passwords, complete push tokens, advertising IDs, IP addresses, credentials or other secrets by email. If more information is genuinely necessary, we will first explain a data-minimising and reasonably secure way to associate the request.
3. Request template
Subject: Delete my aggreTrade data
Hello Epiclapps,
Please delete the data you can associate with my pseudonymous use of aggreTrade.
Platform: [Android/iOS]
Approximate date or period when push/alerts were enabled: [date or period]
Optional alert type/market asset: [only if known]
Please tell me if another data-minimising detail is required to associate the request securely, and confirm once the request has been completed.
Thank you. 4. Operator data covered by the request
Where the data can be securely associated with your pseudonymous record and no statutory exception applies, the deletion review covers in particular:
- the random aggreTrade user identifier
- the associated FCM push token and timestamps
- price, condition and movement alert rules
- notification subscriptions and their activity timestamps
- associated technical logs and support communications where they are no longer required
Operator-side deletion does not cover data held only locally on your device; remove that data as described in section 1.
5. Why association may be difficult
aggreTrade does not ordinarily store a name or email address with the random user identifier on the operator backend. Your sender address is therefore not automatically linked to the technical record. To prevent unauthorised access or deletion, we can act on a record only where the association is sufficiently reliable.
If the operator cannot identify you from the data processed, Article 11 GDPR does not require the operator to collect or retain additional identifying information solely to handle a rights request. You may provide additional information that enables the association. If it remains impossible, we will explain this to you.
6. Data held by Google
Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Installations and Google Mobile Ads process their own technical data. According to Google, Google and the app provider each act as independent controllers for certain AdMob processing. We will handle or forward your request to Google to the extent that we control, can associate or can delete the relevant record using the product functions. Data controlled only by Google that we cannot associate may need to be managed separately through Google's privacy controls or Google's privacy contact.
You can also reset, delete or restrict device and advertising identifiers in your operating system's privacy and advertising settings.
7. Response time and possible exceptions
We respond to privacy requests without undue delay and in principle within one month of receipt under Article 12(3) GDPR. For complex or numerous requests, that period may be extended where the statutory requirements are met; we will notify you of the extension and reasons within the first month. A necessary question about secure association may affect processing time.
Deletion may be excluded or delayed in whole or in part where data is required to comply with a legal obligation, investigate misuse or a security incident, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. In that case, we restrict processing to the required purpose and explain the relevant exception to you.
8. Further information
The aggreTrade privacy policy explains the data categories, purposes, legal bases, recipients, international transfers, retention criteria and your other rights.
